PRAISE PEOPLE AROUND YOU (PART-2)

CONSCIOUS MIND AND SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND

Then came in mind that there is conscious mind and there is subconscious mind. Conscious and subconscious mind are two distinct levels of mental activity that operate differently but serve unique purposes. If we see conscious mind, conscious mind is basically the current awareness, what I am going to eat today, what I am going to wear, how I am going to plan my day.

It is mostly concerned with the present moment. Then come to a second level that is subconscious mind. Subconscious mind holds basically long-term memories, emotional feelings, learned skills.
For example, cycling, driving, swimming. I can't forget these three things. For example, I have driven a car 10 years back and then I left it.

                                                              Hold your Memories
                                                                Emotional Feelings

                                                                      Learned Skill

After 10 years today, I buy a high-end car and was about to drive. I am scared because I have not driven this car for last 10 years. But I know how to drive.  I have learnt it. That skill is stored in my subconscious mind. When I sit in the driver's seat, I would know everything.

The subconscious mind will let me know where is clutch, where is accelerator, where is brake and I will move on with the car easily. The same thing with the swimming and same with the cycling. These are my learned skills stored in my subconscious mind.

This is the advantage we have of that memory. Secondly, we have good or bad habits. Mind also holds habits which you are carrying for last 5-6 years or may be more.

It is there in its memory and you tend to follow that today also because that is your last memories, may be those bad habits. You tend to follow all this today also. To change that, you have to seek help of your conscious mind.

The conscious mind will guide and ask you to change your mindset. So, I change my mindset with the help of conscious mind. So, what I do? I will start praising people every day.

I will do it for weeks, for months, 6 months, for a year and then what is happening? With the help of conscious mind, I have done this, and the same thing will get stored in my subconscious mind. And now onwards, I will be doing good deeds. I will not be talking so badly with people around me.
All that, and I will be a changed person. But I have done it with the help of conscious mind and conscious mind could reprogram these current memories in my subconscious mind. That's how one can change.

If I praise people, I feel as if I am dying. So, what I need to do? I have to change my mindset, start praising people. Keep that in mind that from today onwards, I will praise people.

It is very easy to find one good point in any person. Find that point and utter it, make him happy. He is happy, you get a reward, you become happy, and now you are able to crack or resolve many problems of your household, friends and colleagues.

So, this is how you change yourself with the help of your conscious mind and subconscious mind.
And it is not at all a very difficult task. With your right mindset you can definitely change yourself for betterment.

It is far easier to float with the current than to swim against the tide. But  to make changes in the less material aspects of our lives takes an even greater effort. Star by considering 1. What would make life more meaningful 2. What would give you more satisfaction 3. What would enable you to jump into bed at the end of each day contented with your achievement and progress of that day. - How to define your goals in life ? - What are yo...
